Halloween Mummy Card

I don't have a video for this card, it was a quick card to put together. I hope you enjoy it and think it is as cute as I do!

I inked the background panel with Distress Oxide Inks: Hickory Smoke, Chipped Sapphire, Blueprint Sketch and Wilted Violet from top to bottom and blended thoroughly. I then used Tim Holtz Distress Sprayer to get some reaction on the inked background. I trimmed it slightly smaller than and A2 size card. I also inked the Hillside Border with Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide Ink.

For this fabulous moon, I used Ranger's Lemon Drop Speckle Embossing Powder. I die cut a large circle, inked it with clear embossing powder and sprinkled the embossing powder over the circle. I also tool some of the bigger speckles from the jar and laid it out onto the moon. I started to heat emboss from the back so I didn't blow off the big chunks of embossing powder. Heat that until it is totally melted.

I stamped the cute mummy from Unity Stamp Co. and colored it with gray and yellow green copic markers. I stamped the sentiment onto Storm Cloud Cardstock and heat embossed that with white embossing powder. I stamped the bats with Ranger's Jet Black Archival Ink, I use this ink because, it stamps so crisp onto an inked background. I put the whole card together and adhered that to an A2 size piece of Storm Cloud Cardstock and then to a white A2 size card base. I hope you enjoyed this card and I hope this inspires you to create something wonderful!! Thank you for stopping by, have a wonderful day.
