Hey guys, I am so very excited to share cards for the sneak peeks of the Spring Bliss Release, over the next few days. I hope you are just as excited! I made a slimline card using the new Basketweave Slimline Die, Build An Egg Die, Hoppy Easter Stamp/Die.
I die cut the Basketweave from white cardstock and cut it down to a smaller size. I am going to make a basket out of it. I added a strip of cardstock to the top and inked it with Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Ink, darker on the strip and lighter on the Basketweave. I adhered that to the bottom of a slimline card base with foam tape. I die cut some grass using the Grass Border Die (previously released) from white cardstock. I inked that with Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide Ink. I adhered that to the bottom.
I had some alcohol inked backgrounds in my stash that I haven't used, so I thought I would use those and die cut the eggs using the Build An Egg Die. I tucked two eggs into the grass at the bottom and the top of the basket. I stamped the sentiments from the Hoppy Easter Stamp set and die cut them with the coordinating dies. I adhered those with foam tape. I inked up white cardstock with Cracked Pistachio Ink and cut small strips with my paper trimmer. I crinkled them up and tucked and glued them into the top of the basket.
