How to Spotlight a Die Cut Using Spellbinders "Handing You a Smile" Small Die Of The Month for June

Hi Crafty friends, I hope that you day is going well. For my project today I am using the Small Die Of The Month, these flowers are so beautiful!! I was inspired by Jennifer McGuire and Online Card Classes for the spotlight design of this card. I wanted to spotlight a cluster of flowers and then have the rest in white. I love a ton of white space on a card and doing it this way, you can still have the background full of flowers. To see the full video tutorial click here or watch below.

I die cut each image multiple times because I will stack them together for dimension. I stacked the colored images with 4 layers and the others with 2 layers. I adhered them to an panel that is 1/2" smaller than an A2 size card base. I did not trim of the hang over.

I used some beautiful shimmery cardstock for the colored flowers. These die cuts are awesome because they have multiple pieces for each flower. I used a non-shimmery cardstock for the leaves.

For the sentiment, I used a Glimmer Hot Foil Sentiment, I think it is so very classy! I attached it to a white A2 size card base, for the white on white look.

I hope you enjoyed this tutorial, thank you so much for stopping by. Have a wonderful day!!

Hugs,

Joy
