Hi Crafty friends, how is your day?, I hope it is going well. Today's card is a slimline card using the Small Slimline with Lift Flaps, A Bug Deal and Hey Lady Stamps and Dies. These Slimline cards are so fun and have so much area to make a fun scene card. To see the full video tutorial click here or watch below.
To start I die cut the slimline frame and stamped all of the large leaves with black copic friendly ink. I colored all of the leaves with Copic Markers and then I die cut the flaps. I die cut extra flaps twice and trimmed them out. I colored one set with green markers and I left the others white.
I glued the white flaps on the inside top of the flaps. I glued the green ones into the opening of the base of the card, so I would have a green background. I colored all the images with Copic markers and die cut them with the coordinating dies.
I glued the lift the flaps frame down with foam tape onto a slimline card bas for dimension. I then glued all the little bugs with foam tape and liquid glue. I stamped the bug trail images from the stamp set.
I stamped the sentiments and adhered that to the center flap of the card. I added the bug and speech bubble with foam tape.
