Pick of the Patch

I am always sad when summer comes to an end but, the Fall releases make it a little bit easier. This stamp set from Lawn Fawn (Pick of the Patch) is super cute! I will be using a bunch of different stamp companies for this card.

I used Simon Says Stamp's masking paper and cut a circle using dies from Pink and Main, out of the masking paper and placed that where I wanted the moon to be. I used Simon Says Stamp, Wonky Rectangles to cute out the background piece so there would be a small white frame when placed on an A2 card base.

The green grassy hills are from My Favorite Things, grassy hills. I inked them up with distress oxide inks, using the small ink blending tool. I did the same thing for the sky background in blues and blacks. Then I removed the mask from the moon and spritzed it with a distress sprayer and patted it dry with a paper towel. I adhered the layers of grass with Tombow mono adhesive, the bottom grass layer I popped up with a layer of foam tape.

I stamped the images from Pick of the Patch and Creepy Cute (Simon Says Stamp), on Bristol Smooth card stock and colored with Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers. I cut them out using the coordinating dies. I also cut out the Spooky Fence Border by Lawn Fawn.

Time to assemble the card, I wanted theses cute squirrels to be carving pumpkins and to have this big glorious moon behind them. I think this turned out fantastic. I used the white gel pen for highlights and the Wink of Stella clear glitter brush pen for the moon.

I hope this gets you in the mood for the holidays, thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day.

Joy
