Spellbinders| Becca Feekan 2020 Halloween Collection

Hi crafty friends, I have another fun Halloween project. This time it is 3D. I am using the new Spooky Cottage Dies with the Charming Cottage Box. This is so darn cute, it is perfect for putting Halloween goodies in.

I die cut the main cottage from the Charming Cottage Box Die in Pale Grey cardstock twice. I used my scoring tool and scored lines in the house that look like siding. I also added some Hickory Smoke and Black Soot inks around the edges, so the house would look dirty.

I die cut the bats, door, windows and fence pieces out of Ebony cardstock, the roof pieces out of Ebony and Dark Grey, the mummy out of Bright White and Pale Grey and the tree out of Bagdad Brown.

I adhered the cottage together with score tape, then added the windows (I added Banana Split Cardstock behind it to look like lights were on and there is a window on both sides. Also a piece of wood covering them), door (dark grey cardstock behind that) and fence pieces. The fence is all the way around the box.

I layered the roof pieces, and glued 3 tree pieces together so it would be more substantial. I glued the cute mummy together and added the black glaze pen and white gel pen for the eyes. I glued the tree and mummy to the front of the box.

I glued 3 bats onto the cottage and added glossy accents to the windows, door knob and the bat on the roof.

Thank you so much for stopping by, I hope you enjoyed this project.

Hugs,

Joy
