Hi my crafty friends, I hope you are having a wonderful day! I made 2 cards using the Elegant Twist Collection by Becca Feekan. This is a really beautiful collection with die cuts and Glimmer Hot Foil Plates.
I used the Borders and Sentiments Glimmer Hot Foil Plates with the rainbow foil. This foil is so beautiful! I used 120lb cardstock from Simon Says Stamp to foil on, after I foiled it I trimmed the piece down 1/2" on all sides. I foiled the sentiment in black foil and used foam tape behind that for dimension. I added some star jewels for embellishments. I adhered the panel to an A2 size card base.
For the background of this card I used Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Ink and sprayed it with a little water to get the reaction from the ink. I die cut the circles using the Elegant Twist Circles. On the card base, I inked where the die cut openings would be in Wilted Violet, Picked Raspberry and Ripe Persimmon. I popped up the inked panel with foam tape and glued that to the A2 size card panel. I die cut the small circle out of white cardstock and Gold heat embossed the sentiment and put foam tape behind it.
