Spellbinders Blog Hop and Giveaway Featuring Holiday 2021 products

Hi crafty friends! You just came from Virginia Lu. hope you have been having a good time hopping along and getting inspired!!

I'm using the Welcome Fall Die Set from Nichol Spohr's Happy Harvest Collection for my project today and did some Copic Coloring on Colored Cardstock. This is a great collection that you can do so much with! All opinions are my own, I use and share what I like. I have some affiliate links, they cost you nothing to use. Everything I used is listed and linked below.

Giveaway: To celebrate this event, we are giving away a $50 gift certificate to 3 lucky blog readers – selected from the comments on our blog. Giveaway closes on Sunday, August 29th 11:59 pm EDT. The winners will be announced in the blog hop post the following Wednesday. Winner is responsible for shipping cost, duties and taxes.

I started with colored cardstock for my leaves, pumpkins and wood pieces. Normally I just use white cardstock for Copic coloring but, using colored cardstock with copics goes a little quicker. I used a shade darker than the cardstock and just added some shading with the Copics to all of the images and added wood texture with a flicking motion of the Copic Marker.

I used my tweezers to hold and gently bend the leaves to give them some dimension. I adhered everything with liquid glue or foam tape, letting some of the images go off the edge of the kraft cardstock. I tucked some pumpkins into the basket and added those cute leaves all around to give the look of them falling and landing in and around the pumpkins.

I used white embossing powder for the sentiment on the sign. I finished by adding it to a white A2 size card base and used my white gel pen for highlights.

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you feel inspired. The next person on your hop is Jenny Colacicco .

Hugs,

Joy
