Spellbinders|Celestial Zodiac Collection

Hey crafty friends. I have 3 fun cards for you today using the Celestial Zodiac Collection from Spellbinders. I am using the Layered Full Moon Stencil, Pisces and Scorpio Glimmer Plates from the collection. I think these are so great for birthday cards, so that is what I made today.

All opinions are my own, I use and share what I like. I have some affiliate links, they cost you nothing to use. Everything I used for these cards is listed and linked below.

I made 2 slimline cards and an A2 size card. For the slimlines, I stamped the sentiment from a SSS stamp from Stamptember, Slimline Greetings. I colored the first sentiment with Copic Markers, in rainbow order. Then I foiled the constellation with Starburst Foil directly to the card base. The paper I used for this is SSS 120lb cardstock, it really works well with the foiling. I foiled the sentiments on a separate piece of cardstock and trimmed them down. I added foam tape behind them for dimension. I matted this panel on piece of black cardstock then onto a white slimline base measuring 3 1/2" by 8 1/2".

For this card, I colored the large sentiment with gray Copic Markers and foiled the sentiments and constellation with Speckled Aura Foil. I inked the background with Distress Oxide Inks in Squeezed Lemonade, Dried Marigold and Worn Lipstick. I finished by adding this panel to a white slimline card base and adhering some Gold Fever Confetti.

For this A2 size card, I started with a piece of Glossy cardstock and using the Layered Full Moon Stencil, I stenciled with Peacock Feathers, Wilted Violet and Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Ink. Distress Oxides dry a bit chalky, so I added, with a blender tool, some Distress Micro Glaze. The Micro Glaze makes if shiny and seals it in. I cut it out. I foiled the sentiment with Silver Foil on Ebony cardtock, stamped the sentiment from SSS Tiny Words Birthday in black ink and trimmed it out. I added the panel to a white A2 card base, put foam tape behind the moon and finished with some Gold Fever Confetti.

Thanks for stopping by, Have a wonderful day!

Hugs,

Joy
