Spellbinders|Gel Press Background with the Windy Sky Stamp

Hey crafty friends, I have a beautiful background stamp to share with you. I'm using the Windy Sky Stamp, this is a really simple but, beautiful stamp. To go with the stamp I decided that I needed a beautifully inked background, so I pulled out my Gel Press and some Simon Hurley inks. It was a fun card to make! To see the full video tutorial click here or watch below.

All opinions are my own, I use and share what I like. I have some affiliate links, hey cost you nothing to use. Everything I used is listed and linked below.

I used my gel press and Simon Hurley Inks. I inked it up with a small brayer from light to dark overlapping the colors to get a good blend. I laid down my white A2 size card panel on top of the inked gel press. I used the brayer and rolled it on the back of the cardstock, I did this to give even pressure, so the ink would be applied evenly. I removed the cardstock panel from the gel press.

I put the panel into my Misti and lined up the Windy Sky Stamp. I inked it up with Versamark ink and used white embossing powder and heated that until melted. I trimmed that down and added a Gold Mirror Cardstock Mat behind it and adhered that to a white A2 card base.

I die cut the sentiments from white and gold mirror cardstock, I glued those together and then to the card panel. I finished with Oceanside Dew Drops.

Thank you for stopping by, have a wonderful day!

Hugs,

Joy
