Hi crafty friends, for today's project I am sharing how I modified the Small Die of the Month from Spellbinders. I really love these Card Creator dies from Spellbinders, they are just so pretty and make a beautiful card. I decided to them a bit. The original design is a rectangle that fits an A2 size card, I changed that to a circle. It is a super simple change but, I love how it turned out. All opinions are my, I use and share what I like. I have some affiliate links, they cost you nothing to use.
I used Coral cardstock for the background panel and inked the edges with clear embossing ink and used Gold Embossing powder for a pretty detail. I die cut the images from the Small die in Gold Touch, Gold Mirror, Lagoon, Rose Quartz and Coral. I glued the Gold Touch and Gold Mirror together slightly off from each other to give a shadow effect.
I trimmed off the connector pieces for the Spring Flowers Card Creator and changed the orientation of the dies to make a circle instead of the rectangle. I die cut the sentiment 3 times and glued them together for dimension. I then stamped and gold heat embossed the other sentiment from the stamp of the month. I used foam tape behind the dies to give some extra dimension.
Thanks for stopping by, have a wonderful day!
Hugs,
Joy
