Spellbinders|Jane Davenport

Hi Crafty friends, welcome back to my blog!! I hope your day is going great. For this project, I made 3 cards using 2 different stamps sets from Jane Davenport. For 2 of the cards, I did some inking on Acetate (inspired by Gina K. Designs) and the other I colored with Zig Markers. To see the full video tutorial click here or watch below.

For this card, I did some inking onto acetate. I used Weathered Wood, Tumbled Glass and Worn Lipstick. I applied that to the acetate and sprayed it with a little bit of water, then laid my watercolor paper on top. After I lifted the paper off the acetate, I used my heat gun to dry it. I stamped the Elephant image with Archival Jet Black ink. This panel is about 1/4" smaller than an A2 size card. I matted it onto gray cardstock and then adhered that to a white card base. I stamped and white heat embossed the sentiment onto the gray cardstock and attached that with foam tape for dimension. I added some jewels for embellishment.

I did the same inking technique for this background and used the same stamp set. The inks for this background are Wilted Violet, Hickory Smoke and Peacock Fearthers. I matted the colored panel which is 1/2" smaller than an A2 size cardbase onto black cardstock, then adhered that to a white card base. I added the same jewels.

This image is from Giraffe Wisdom. I stamped it onto water color paper and used Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers to color the images and the grass. I matted onto black cardstock then onto a white A2 size card base.

I hope you enjoyed this project and I hope you feel inspired. Thank you for stopping by.

All opinions are my own. I use various companies products and I use what I like. Some items are gifted to me but, I only use what I like. There are some affiliated links above, it costs you nothing to use them but, it helps me to continue to create. Thank you for all your love and support. You are a blessing to me.
