Hi crafty friends! I just can't get enough of Glimmer Hot Foil, it is so beautiful! I have 2 cards below that are using products from the Layered Glimmer Collection. If you haven't tried Glimmer Hot Foil, you need to. It really isn't difficult and it adds some class to your cards.
For the first card I wanted a lot of white space but, colorful. So I decided to use the rainbow foil to add that color. I used the "Just For You" Glimmer Plate. It has coordinating dies along with other flower dies. I used the Glimmer Plates and coordinating flower dies.
I used 120lb cardstock for the foiling. I foiled the large "For You" Glimmer Plate onto a piece of cardstock trimmed it slightly smaller than an A2 size card. I foiled the "On Your Birthday" sentiment with Aura Foil (my favorite). I finished with Gold Fever sequins. I added the panel to a white A2 size card base.
Now this card is different, it is very colorful. I started with Adriatic Cardstock and added some Chipped Sapphire Ink on the outside edges of the cardstock, leaving it light in the middle. I then trimmed it down a 1/2" on all sides.
I used Aura Foil on white 120lb cardstock and then die cut out the flowers with the coordinating dies from the Glimmered Botanical Set. I die cut the other parts of the flowers and leaves out of Banana Split Cardstock. I adhered all the pieces together and attached them to the card with liquid glue and foam tape for dimension. I finished with a Glimmer Sentiment from Borders and Sentiments Glimmer Hot Foil and Gold Fever Sequins. I attached that to a white A2 size card base.
