Spellbinders|Making a Simple Glimmer Hot Foil Card
Hey there crafty friends, I have a really simple and beautiful Glimmer Hot Foil Card. Black and White have such a classy look, then you add a little Gold and you have a very beautiful card. I'm using the Essentials Duo Lines Glimmer Squares from Spellbinders for the glimmer effect. I made a 5x5 card for this project. All opinions are my own, I use and share what I like. I have some affiliate links, they cost you nothing to use. Everything I used for this card is listed and linked below.
I'm using SSS 120lb cardstock to foil on. It foils wonderfully! I used the two largest glimmer plates in the set. I foiled the largest one with Aura Foil, I then stamped the image from SSS Best Friend Ever stamps set in black ink. I foiled the smaller glimmer plate and as you can see some of it overlaps the stamp.
I used some light gray Copic markers to add a little color, keeping it looking white. I stamped and white heat embossed on black cardstock and popped that up on foam tape for dimension. I trimmed down the glimmered piece to about 4". I made another white mat that measures 4 1/4" square and then added that to a white 5x5 card base with foam tape. I finished the card with Gold Fever Confetti.
Thanks for stopping by, have a wonderful day!
