Spellbinders|Non-Traditional Christmas Colors using Sparkling Christmas Collection

Hi crafty friends, I hope your day is going great! Today I have 3 beautiful non-traditional Christmas cards for you using 3 new products, Christmas Essentials Glimmer Rectangles, Christmas Sweater Borders and Glimmer Poinsettias. Honestly, I think you should have all of these in your collection.

For this card I started with a piece of Racing Green cardstock cut to an A2 size. I foiled it with the Christmas Sweater Borders in Blush Foil a little more than halfway up the cardstock. I foiled the Glimmer Poinsettias in Blush Foil as well using Rose Quartz, Mars, Azalea and Limeade cardstocks and die cut them out with the coordinating dies.

I glued all of the poinsettias together, alternating the colors, so there was one of each color on a flower. I also foiled a sentiment from Yana's Holiday Sentiments onto Azalea cardstock with Blush Foil and die cut that out. I assembled the card and added foam adhesive behind the sentiment and finished it with Gold Foil Pearls in the centers of the flowers and scattered on the card.

Okay, for this fun card, I started with a piece of 120 lb white cardstock and inked it with Speckled Egg Distress Oxide Ink and foiled it using the Christmas Essentials Glimmer Rectangles in Red Foil. I then took another piece of white cardstock and inked in Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Ink and foiled it with the Christmas Sweater Borders and Aura Foil over the whole piece. I then trimmed it down to fit in the center of the framed cardstock piece. I matted that onto Red Hot cardstock.

I then foiled the HO HO HO (no longer available, I linked another product) with Red foil onto white cardstock and die cut it out. I also foiled another sentiment using the Shimmering Merry Christmas Sentiments (a past Glimmer Club Kit) in Aura Foil and trimmed it out. I used foam tape behind the HO HO HO for dimension and then glued the Merry Christmas sentiment directly to that.

Now for the last card, I inked the background with inks from Taylored Expressions in Mint Julep and Blue Raspberry. I used a snowflake die (no longer available) as a Glimmer Plate and foiled it onto the background with Blush Foil. I then foiled the Christmas Essentials Glimmer Rectangles in Pink Foil. I trimmed it down slightly smaller than an A2 size.

I die cut the snowflakes from Rose Quartz cardstock and adhered them to the card panel. I also foiled a sentiment from Shimmering Merry Sentiments in Aura Foil and trimmed it out. I adhered that with foam tape and added Gold Fever Confetti to the centers of the snowflakes and scattered around the card.

I hope you guys enjoyed these non-traditional Christmas colors, I really enjoyed making them. Have a wonderful day.

Hugs,

Joy
