Spellbinders October Large and Small Die of the Month

Hey there crafty friends, I am sharing the Large and Small Die of the Month with you today. These are soooo fantastic! The Small die is a super cute truck with holiday accessories. The Large Die is a super cute fireplace with Christmas accessories.

All opinions are my own, I use and share what I like. I have some affiliate links, they cost you nothing to use.

This Large Die is so amazing, I absolutely love it! For the background I used a brick stencil and Texture Paste on white cardstock. Once that was dry, I inked up the portion of brick behind the flames with Crackling Campfire, Scattered Straw and Black Soot Distress Oxide inks. I added wood cardstock for the floor and inked up the "walls" next to the fireplace with Speckled Egg Distress Oxide Ink.

I die cut the fireplace from black, white and gray. I adhered those pieces, offsetting the black fireplace behind the white fireplace just slightly. I die cut the cute stockings from striped patterned paper from my stash, the candles from black and white cardstock, the fireplace grate from Gold Mirror cardstock, the wood from two colors of brown. I die cut the flames from white and ink blended them with Barn Door, Scattered Straw and Crackling Campfire. I die cut the wreath from Forest and added Garnet Liquid Pearls for the berries. I stamped the sentiment from the Stamp of the Month.

I wanted to create a scene card with the Small Die of the Month, that had a cute little village behind it. So I used Lawn Fawn's Winter Village Stamp set and Copic Colored them. I stenciled the mountains behind it with the Mountain Builder stencil and added white embossing powder for the snow. I cut some hills for the houses to sit on and stenciled some hills and a road in the forefront of the card. I die cut the pieces for this super cute truck from Aquamarine, wood, silver and black cardstocks. The trees are die cut from Forest cardstock. I added textured white embossing powder for the snow affect. I did not put a sentiment on the front of the card, I added that inside.

Thanks for stopping by, have a wonderful day!

Hugs,

Joy
