Hi everybody, I hope you day is fabulous! For this project, I stamped and colored with Zig markers, then Hot Foiled over the image. I was so nervous to do it after all the work of coloring the background but, it was so worth it. To see the full video tutorial click here or watch below.
I started with a piece of Bristol Smooth Cardstock (water color paper) and stamped the leaf images in Shabby Shutters Distress Oxide Ink for a no-line coloring effect. I colored it with my Zig markers in Mid Green, Green Gray and Light Gray. I added the splatter effect with a Black Zig marker.
I used the Glimmer Hot Foil System and foiled the "Thanks Sentiment" in Blush Foil. I trimmed the panel 1/2" smaller than an A2 size card. I matted it with a piece of Ebony Cardstock slightly larger. I adhered that to a white A2 size card base.
I finished the card with a white heat embossed sentiment on Ebony cardstock. I trimmed that down and used foam tape behind it for dimension. I added clear dew drops for some embellishment.
