Spellbinders|Slimline Card using Foliage and Ladybugs Die
Hi crafty friends, I hope your day is going well. I have a beautiful Slimline Christmas card for you today using the Foliage and Ladybugs Die. Sometimes you just want a quick but, beautiful card, this is it. This was so simple to make, the colors of cardstock is what made the Foliage Die Cuts stand out so beautifully. All opinions are my own, I use and share what I like. I have some affiliate links, they cost you nothing to use.
I die cut the Foliage out of Forest (darker) and Fairway (lighter and shimmer) using my Platinum 6 Die Cut Machine. I trimmed down the slimline panels out of Gold Touch Sparkle (8x3 1/4 )and Gold Mirror cardstock (8 1/4x3 1/4).
I adhered the foliage with liquid glue. I used liquid glue because I am glueing onto glitter cardstock. I tucked the lighter green foliage into the darker green and adhered that with glue. I trimmed the excess off. I then added the berries with Nuvo Crystal Drops in Autumn Red and Bubblegum Blush and Nuvo Glitter Drops in Ruby Slippers.
I finished with a stamped and Gold heat embossed sentiment from the Simple Strips Christmas. I used foam tape behind that for dimension. I added the gold mirror cardstock behind the glitter cardstock, you only see it at the top and bottom. I then adhered that to a white slimline card base measuring 8 1/2 x 3 1/2.
Thank you so much for stopping by, I hope you enjoyed this project.
