Hey crafty friends, hope your day is going great! I have a fun card using the Sweet Cardlets Collection. These are Glimmer Plates and ya'll know I love Glimmer Hot Foil! I used the Lovely Ladybug and Heartfelt Sentiments for this card. All opinions are my own and I share what I like. I have affiliate links below, they cost you nothing to use. I started with a piece of Mars Green cardstock and foiled it with the background image from the Lovely Ladybug set. I used Speckled Foil for the background. I trimmed down the cardstock around the foiled image. I foiled the ladybug body with the Speckled Foil and the wings with Pink Foil. I used the coordinating dies to cut out the images.
I used the "Hello, Lovely Lady" sentiment from the Lovely Ladybug set and foiled that with Aura Foil and trimmed it down. I foiled the other sentiment with Aura Foil and it is from the Heartfelt Sentiments Glimmer set, I then used the coordinating die to cut it out.
I added Gold Mirror cardstock as a mat behind the foiled background, I then adhered that to a white A2 size card base. I added the sentiment to the top of the card with foam tape, the ladybug has foam tape behind for dimension. I adhered the other sentiment directly to the card panel. I finished the card with Gold Foil Pearls for embellishments.
