Hi crafty friends, I hope your day is going awesome!I have not used paint pens before so this was a new experience for me. They are fun! They dry kind of matte, I really like that look. These colors are just beautiful and their names are so fun. You have Queen of Hearts, Pool of Tears, Alice Blue, Cheshire Cat and Mad Hatter. I made a really simple card to show of how fun these are.
I started with an A2 size white card panel and stamped the balloons in black ink, in a way that looks like they are flying up. I stamped them from Jane Davenports Elephant Dream Stamp set. I stamped the sentiment from Jane Davenports Giraffe Wisdom Stamp set in black ink.
I used all five colors of paint pens in the fine nib tip. There are two sizes of nibs fine and broad. Once they were dry, which was really fast, I took different colors and added polka dots. I liked that the polka dots were just as bright as the colored balloons. I trimmed this piece down slightly smaller.
I added glossy accents to the balloons and more polka dots to the card base, to frame the panel.
