Who doesn't love an ugly sweater! I am sure we have all worn one or been around someone with one on (maybe they didn't even know it was ugly...haha). I couldn't wait to color theses!
This cute card was super easy to make. This is a great one layer card, but it looks like it has some dimension. You just have to think about what sweater you want in the foreground (front). These Stamps are so cute! Simon Says Stamp Ugly Sweater and Sweater Words. You can also get the whole set with dies for the sweaters.
So I laid out how I wanted my sweaters and stamped the one that is going to be in the front and then stamped again on my masking paper and cut that out and placed that over the sweater and continued to stamp the rest of the sweaters repeating with masking paper.
Once all the sweaters were stamped, I lined up the sentiment from the stamp set and stamped it with Simon Says Stamp clear watermark ink, added ranger black embossing powder and heat embossed it.
The next step is to adorn these fabulous sweaters with all the cute images in the stamp set and then color. I used Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers.
These sweaters were so much fun to color. I added details with a white gel pen, black glaze pen, glossy accents and Nuvo Crystal drops in Gold Coast.
