Whimsy Stamps|31 Nights of Halloween Blog Celebration

Hi Crafty friends, I hope you have been having fun with the 31 Nights of Halloween Blog Celebration! I am so excited to be part of this Blog and to share an awesome Halloween card with you. I used the Going Catty and Going Batty stamps to make a slimline scene card. To see the full video tutorial click here or watch below. All the supplies I used are listed and linked below.

$300 IN PRIZES

Whimsy Stamps will be giving away $300 in prizes.  There will be one grand prize of a $100 gift certificate (winner must create and link up a Whimsy Halloween project) and two $25 gift certificates each week (Those will be awarded to random customers who placed an order in the Whimsy store the previous week).

For this slimline card I used the masking technique to make a scene card. I used images from the Going Batty and Going Catty Stamp Set.

I stamped the images with black Copic friendly ink, I started with the images in the front and then put masking paper over those images. I continued with that until all the images are stamped and covered in masking paper.

I carefully inked the background with Distress Oxide Inks in, Dried Marigold, Carved Pumpkin and Crackling Campfire. I peeled all of the masking paper off and colored the images with Copic Markers. I stamped the sentiments in black and purple inks.

I finished the card by adding Nuvo Crystal Drops, White Gel Pen highlights on the bats and pumpkins and Glossy Accents on the eyes of the bats.

Thank you for hopping along, I hope you enjoyed this project.

Hugs,

Joy
